This is a rich, concentrated Malbec with ripe dark-fruit character and herbal nuances. Full body. Dynamic and focused on the palate with a long, refreshing finish. 12 months in first use French and American oak barrel, 70% of the production in second use barrel, 30% in third use barrel.

The 2020 Malbec from Los Chacayes, Uco Valley was aged for 12 months in used barrels and is a dark purple hue. The attractively pure, bold nose displays plum, violet and lavender notes with secondary aromas from the aging process. In the mouth, its fairly smooth with gentle, juicy tannins and a tart, precise freshness that lends tension. The 2020 is a rewarding wine.

Enticing aromas of cedar and violets lead to a full-bodied and smooth palate. There is a good amount of black fruit and herbs in this wine. It's juicy and has a solid structure holding it all together.
