Red color tending towards garnet. This is a wine with great structure, rounded, with complex notes of licorice and cherry. Full, spicy, elegant on the palate, with soft tannins and a finish persistent.
Serve with game and mature cheeses
An inviting, warm nose is headlined by aromas of earth, spices and dense fruit, with a latent salty, leathery element emerging. The palate is more uniformly fruit-forward, but a dusting of salt and pepper and a blast of spice preserve an overall feeling of nuance. Refined tannins keep vibrant acid in check.
Blueberries, cherries, cloves, cardamom and toasted nuts on the nose. Medium- to full-bodied with sleek, tight tannins and bright acidity. Juicy and balanced. Drink after 2023.
